SELF MEASUREMENT GUIDE & SIZE CHARTS
SELF MEASUREMENT GUIDE
To take accurate measurements, it is important that you stand straight and are relaxed. The best way to hold a tape measure is to pinch it between your thumb and index finger. For better results, have someone assist you with your measurement.
Height: Stand straight, bare-foot next to a doorframe and measure from head to toe.
Bust: Measure your chest around the fullest part of your bust by sliding the tape under your armpits. Ensure that the tape is level around the back and is over the bottom of your shoulder blades. Slip two fingers under the tape.
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, generally around your naval, whilst ensuring that the tape is balanced throughout. Keep the tape comfortable loose by slipping two fingers under the tape measure.
Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hips – normally about 8″ (20cm) below your natural waistline. Ensure that the tape is balanced throughout and slip tow fingers under the tape measure.
Sleeve Length: Bend your arms slightly. Measure from the top of your arm – where the shoulder meets the arm – down the centre of your arm, at the elbow, and continue till approximately 1 inch below the wrist.
